Warping
In this preliminary textile stage, Streiffband winds the number of threads required for a fabric in the desired length onto so-called warp beams. A single warp beam can contain several million thread meters.

 

Weaving / knitting
As a specialist for narrow textiles, Streiffband has a machine park geared to woven and knitted fabrics from 2 to 200 mm. Natural fibers such as linen, synthetic yarns such as polyester or high-performance yarns such as Kevlar are used.

 

Finishing
In the finishing department, we can equip tapes to meet specific requirements in terms of their physical properties: for example, particularly hard or soft, flame-retardant, dirt-repellent or abrasion-resistant.

 

Confectioning
Depending on the customer's requirements, the finished tapes are additionally coated, cut to length, sewn or rolled onto a specific type of spool.
